Dennis’s brother-in-law, Steve, knew instantly that he had found the one for Dennis when he met Jessica at a workplace dinner one night. He asked for her business card and called Dennis that same night to announce, “I found your wife!”. Just a few weeks later, Jessica and Dennis went on their first date and the rest, as they say, is history!
It was drizzling lightly on and off when Jessica and Dennis got ready for their wedding day at the luxe Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia. We love how, once hair and makeup was completed, the bridesmaids took time out before dressing into their lovely knee-length gray dresses to toast with champagne flutes to Jessica and Dennis… while the guys did the same in their room with their festive colored cups! Before they finished getting ready, Jessica and Dennis exchanged gifts and love notes that they wrote for each other. Dennis especially had us all choked up as he just couldn’t contain his emotions while he read his card from Jessica!
Jessica then dressed into her beautiful wedding gown. It was a gorgeous lace covered strapless dress that laced up in the back. It truly looked like it was made just for her! She wore her hair in an updo and had a dazzling hair brooch and a long cathedral veil fastened to the back of her hair. When she entered Old Saint Mary’s Church for their ceremony on the arm of her proud father, Dennis received his first look of his bride that day. The excitement and joy was once again just written all over his face!
After their traditional wedding ceremony, the couple were given a joyful bubble salute as they exited the church, then photos were taken throughout the city’s historic sites by one of our favorites, Philip Gabriel Photography. The rain was still holding off pretty well and it was a lovely late afternoon for strolling along the streets and filming the happy newlyweds and their bridal party.
Very soon, we would be at their reception at the exquisite Ballroom at the Ben. Jessica and Dennis made their grand entrance down the stairs to the cheers of their friends and family and danced their first (lively!) dance together as a married couple. After heartwarming dances with their parents, the dance floor opened to all the guests and remained packed all evening with thanks to EBE Events & Entertainment’s Paris. They always know how to rock the house! We enjoyed watching Jessica and Dennis’ friends and family having so much fun, including the youngest of their tuxedo and top hat clad wedding party!
