The Greatest of These Is Love // Abby + Jacob

We're so blessed to have several family weddings to both attend as honored guests and to film this year, with our first being our sweet niece, Abby, and her wonderful beau, Jacob!

The two met at Wildwood's annual music fest, the Barefoot Country Music Festival. Abby's friend since her high school days was staying in her hotel room and wanted to meet up with some of the guys from their former school. Abby was reluctant at first, but was convinced to go just for a quick visit. Jacob was staying with one of the guys they were meeting, a wrestling teammate of his, and as soon as Abby and Jacob met, they started talking and felt a true connection. They knew by the end of the night that they were simply meant to be together... and haven't left each other's side since!

Jacob's proposal came on a day that was already very special, their class ring ceremony at college. Abby's family had traveled down to South Carolina for the event, and they went together to Greenville, the place where the couple had their first official date. It had been raining all day, but as soon as they parked the car, it stopped! Abby and Jacob began a walk around the park for photos, and Jacob got down on one knee and proposed! Abby said 'Yes!' and they celebrated with both of their families down in South Carolina.

But the big day happened here in our region! Abby got ready on the morning of her wedding at Cairnwood Estate, the gorgeous venue where the reception would later be held. She dressed into her amazing Randy Fenoli gown, a fabulous ball gown with a sweetheart bodice and dropped, basque waistline. She accessorized with a sophisticated wrap and a very special item, her grandmother's veil, for the first part of her day. Abby was the most beautiful bride!

Meanwhile, Jacob and his groomsmen got ready at Huntingdon Valley Country Club, the place where their wedding ceremony would soon take place. His party wore light beige, and he dressed into a contrasting light gray suit with a bright, white bow tie. They all looked so dapper and so summery! Abby's bridal party also dressed for the season, looking beautiful in their mismatched pastel colored gowns. And all the ivory and blush floral bouquets and centerpieces from Heather Bosco were amazing!

Abby then traveled to Huntingdon Valley Country Club for the marriage ceremony. But before the ceremony was set to begin, the couple shared a special First Touch, no peeking as they held hands around a corner inside the venue. They recited beautiful, personal vows that they wrote just for each other and said a prayer together. Then, their lovely ceremony took place outside on this first official day of summer. Here, before all their family and friends, Abby and Jacob said their 'I do's' and became husband and wife.

After some additional family photos, it was time to travel back to the exquisite, castle-like Cairnwood Estate for the reception! Abby and Jacob entered the reception space when the newest Mr. and Mrs. were announced, and danced their first romantic dance of the evening. Abby's father then welcomed everyone and gave a sweet speech (we love that framed photo of Abby on his shoulder!) and a prayer was said before dinner was served.

We heard the most beautiful toasts over dinner, as Abby's maid of honor, her sister Hannah, and Jacob's best man, his close friend, gave wonderful speeches, then the always-touching father-daughter and mother-son dances were next. Witnessing our own family dancing during these sweet moments was extra heartwarming for us. Afterward, Abby and Jacob cut their fantastic cake from Velvet Sky Bakery.

Then it was time to party! Center Stage Entertainment kept everyone on the dance floor all night! And we loved the glowing party sticks that lit up the room and enhanced the fun!

Abby and Jacob's photographer on their special day was Emilee Frey Photography, and it was a true pleasure to see her and her team again. And she's already shared some amazing photos on her instagram account!

This was just an absolutely wonderful day, one that we looked forward to with such excitement and pure joy! All our love to Abby and Jacob. We can't wait to see what God has planned for your life together.
