To the Moon and Back // Casey + Michael

Casey and Michael met in a fun and unusual way! Their first encounter happened when she was working in retail and Michael came to her store to buy a suit. They didn't exchange numbers then, but met again online just a few weeks later. Their relationship grew and when the time came for Michael to pop the question, he made sure to keep it a secret, proposing to Casey at her family's lake house in the Poconos. So romantic!

Casey and Michael chose The Palace at Somerset Park in Franklin Township, New Jersey to hold their amazing wedding event. This beautiful venue has a very classical, stately look, both inside and out. A Touch of Elegance Floral & Event Design filled the event spaces with amazing, lush florals, like the bridal party's bouquets, in fall shades of golden yellow, bronze, ivory and burgundy.

Michael got ready with his groomsmen onsite at The Palace. They wore matching black tuxedos in keeping with the very formal wedding theme and mood. We loved the serious-looking photos taken inside the venue before their jackets went on!

Meanwhile, Casey and her bridesmaids got ready in a separate suite. David Frohmberg and Sir Daniel from Salon Tease traveled up from Florida to do their hair and makeup, and the girls had those fabulous photos taken in their matching robes before dressing!

As her beautiful bridal party dressed into their emerald green gowns, Casey put on her incredible wedding dress. It had a perfect fit and flare silhouette, a sweetheart neckline, lovely appliqués across the bodice, delicate spaghetti straps and a light and full skirt edged in lace. And we adored both her long veil and the birdcage veil she wore for photos. She was the most gorgeous bride! Before heading outside, she walked down the grand staircase where her father was waiting to receive his special first look at his beautiful daughter.

Afterwards, Casey and Michael shared a wonderful first look outside on the grounds of their venue. It was so sweet! They were all smiles, and laughed as they shared their very first kiss that day. "It's happening... this is for real!".

A fantastic photo shoot took place right after their first look by Niki Phillips. And it was the perfect day for those outdoor photos in front of their venue. Be sure to check out a few of their photos on insta!

Then, Casey and Michael's wedding ceremony began at The Palace at Somerset Park. Casey walked down the aisle on the arm of her parents towards Michael, who was waiting, filled with emotion. A family friend did a fantastic job officiating their outdoor ceremony and leading the two in reciting their personalized, very touching vows to each other.

After the two made it official, it was time to party! Casey and Michael entered the ballroom under the arch made by the arms of their wedding party and danced their very first dance together as 'husband and wife'. Then everyone joined in on the dance floor to help kick off the evening's celebration!

We heard lovely (and super funny!) toasts from Casey's father, her sister and matron of honor and from Michael's best man, who even included a large canvas print of a hilarious throwback photo! And Casey and Michael danced those special dances with their parents.

The party continued all evening as guests danced with abandon to the sounds of EBE Talent's Rio! The crowd even danced a traditional Greek dance to celebrate this happy occasion!

Aubrey Phillips did a wonderful job in coordinating this wonderful wedding event. It was such a beautiful wedding with laughter and love certainly the themes of the day. Congratulations to Casey and Michael!
