Caroline and Kevin met in a junior sailing program at Mantoloking Yacht Club ‘down the shore’ in New Jersey when they were just 12 and 13 years old. They were competitors at the time, but later became good friends and went on to attend the same high school and college. Their relationship developed over time, becoming a deep and lasting love.
