We were looking forward so much to Taylor and Brendan's event! We had the complete pleasure of filming a second wedding for this wonderful family, as we captured the bride's sister's wedding at the very same venue several years earlier. And with the gorgeous venue being one of our favorites, a sweet couple to celebrate with and a beautiful day in store, we knew we were in for an incredible treat!
There's really no better venue for a summer wedding than one right on the bay, with the beach just a few blocks away and the warm, salty ocean breeze in the air. Taylor and Brendan chose to hold their wedding event at the incredible Bay Head Yacht Club in Bay Head, New Jersey on what was an absolutely perfect summer day.
The guys got ready together in a home rented nearby. Brendan and his groomsmen all wore matching classic black tuxedos, looking so formal and fantastic on this exciting day. And we loved the monogrammed suspenders and the 'no socks' look that went along with the formal tuxes... very apropos for a warm-weather, bayside wedding!
The beautiful bride had such a sophisticated, regal look on her wedding day, with her bridal gown featuring a straight neckline, prominent shoulder straps and an elegant ball gown silhouette. In her chic updo, Taylor fastened a fabulous sparkling crown headband and a long veil for the ceremony. And that gorgeous crystal bow highlighting her waistline was extraordinary! So lovely!
Taylor carried an amazing, full white orchid bridal bouquet. And her bridal party's orchids in pink looked wonderful against their light blue gowns. Such gorgeous, summery color choices for this shore wedding event.
The couple had their first look in the club's Dale Building, a boat house just around the bend from the main clubhouse. This is always one of the most emotional and thrilling parts of the wedding day and we may have been as excited as Taylor and Brendan themselves!
During and after their first look, photos were taken onsite and along the beach by the exceptional Paul Francis Photography team. As always, it was so awesome to work with Paul for this wonderful wedding event. And we couldn't ask for a more beautiful day for photo shoots outside at this waterside property. We know Taylor and Brendan will treasure these formal and candid photos forever.
Taylor and Brendan's ceremony was held back in the breezy boat house. An amazing floral arch overflowing with pink blooms stood above Taylor and Brendan as they recited their vows and exchanged rings. Soon, it would be official!
After their 'I do's', the couple traveled to the Bay Head Yacht Club's clubhouse for their reception via Bay Head's luxury boat! We always love hitching a ride with the couple to film as they're whisked away across the water to their reception at Bay Head. It's such a romantic, and yet equally fun and exciting moment!
The clubhouse was completely enveloped in deep purple, fuchsia, plum and lavender florals and bright greenery within the table centerpieces, garland and chandelier installations, all from David Mitchell Fine Event Design. The reception introductions signaled the start of the party, as well as Taylor and Brendan's first dance. All their friends and family cheered them on as they shared their first dance of the evening, and their first dance as 'husband and wife'.
Touching dances with their parents and awesome, well-written (and funny!) toasts followed. Then, the dance floor was opened, and East Coast Entertainment totally rocked the house all night! Taylor and Brendan took time out for a romantic stroll along the dock at sunset before returning to dance the night away with their friends and family.
It was such a pleasure to be a part of capturing this gorgeous wedding day for Taylor and Brendan. Congratulations to the newlyweds! We wish them a lifetime filled with love and joy.
