It was such a joy to film Kara and Kyle's beautiful wedding day! We were thrilled when Kara gave us a call during the summer of 2024 to find out if we were available for her wedding day the following June. We actually didn't realize that we were also filming Kyle's brother's wedding day that fall! Kara and Kyle's Cape May wedding was simply spectacular, and we know it was everything they had dreamed it would be.

We were very happy to have the opportunity to film their welcome party at Congress Hall the evening before the big day. Kara and Kyle's friends and family gathered together at the historic hotel to eat, drink, celebrate and toast the happy couple at the fabulous seaside locale. It was such a fun evening and a fantastic way to start the festivities.

Kara and Kyle also got ready on the morning of their wedding there at Congress Hall. Kyle's best man and groomsmen were there with him as they got ready, taking time out to watch some golf on tv in the process! Kyle looked so handsome as he wore a black tuxedo for the first part of his day, changing into a modern, warm-weather white jacket for the reception. His party all looked great dressed in their black tuxes, too!

Kara looked absolutely incredible in her strapless gown from Lela Rose. It had a beautiful hand-painted tulle overlay and an A-line silhouette, and she wore a lovely tulle jacket with puff sleeves for the first part of her day. Kara accessorized with pretty pearl earrings and in the back of her sleek and chic updo, she fastened a long veil for the ceremony. She was such a beautiful bride!

We all traveled just down the road a bit to Our Lady Star of the Sea for the ceremony. As Kyle waited at the altar, Kara walked up the stairs on the arm of her father and entered through the doors at the back of church. You can clearly see just how emotional Kyle was, wiping away tears at the first sight of his bride on this special day. Father Paul Galetto spoke beautifully to the couple and to their friends and family of 'truth, unity and love'. After the traditional Catholic ceremony concluded, Kara and Kyle kissed again as they walked together up the aisle, then were cheered and saluted with ribbon wands outside!

It was another rainy weekend in New Jersey, but just the same as with all our recent weddings, the rain graciously held off for most of the important events. And photos were one of them, of course! We always love working with Rachel Pearlman and her second photographer, Dan, and had so much fun again as they took those fabulous photos of the couple, their wedding party (and their cute pup, Heidi!) and the whole event! Be sure to check out some of Rachel's beautiful work on her instagram site.

The couple's amazing tented reception was held in the elegantly manicured gardens alongside the many grapevines at Isaac Smith Vineyard. Their bright, springy colors of peach and apricot with green accents set alongside the soft ivory, buttercream and light watercolor blue were wonderfully displayed in the floral centerpieces, vases, candles, linens, signs and backdrop. And in the evening, the market string lights under the tent's canopy and flickering candlelight provided such a warm, romantic glow.

Kara and Kyle's arrival was announced and the couple had their first dance on the light wood and white checkered dance floor. They looked like professional dancers out there! They welcomed everyone afterwards to celebrate with them on the dance floor to get it warmed up for the evening.

Next came the lovely blessing by Kyle's father and a beautiful speech from Kara's father, leading into their sweet father-daughter dance and Kyle's lovely dance with his mother.

We also loved the toasts given by Kyle's best man and from Kara's sister and maid of honor during entrees. They all spoke about Kara and Kyle's kindness, humbleness and just how much love they have for each other.

Kara and Kyle cut their scrumptious two-tiered wedding cake from Stocks Bakery away from the crowd. And dancing continued through the evening with BVT Live!'s Midnight Hour leading the way! Check out those awesome dance moves from Kara and Kyle and their friends and family!
