When it comes to March wedding dates, the weather can definitely be a main factor in the planning process. Everyone needs to prepare for bitter cold, high winds or even snow flurries, because they're all real possibilities. But not only did the weather cooperate for this wedding, it was the most beautiful, sunny, spring-like day we could imagine!
Elaina and Scott met back in 2010 on the 21st of the month. And their first date also took place on the 21st. So Scott knew he absolutely had to propose to Elaina on the 21st, too. The two had planned a trip to Italy, and Scott proposed at such a romantic location, a rooftop dinner in Amalfi. And in keeping with their special theme, the wedding day took place on the 21st, of course!

Everything on this beautiful wedding day took place at one of our favorite venues, the fabulous Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, New Jersey. This venue has such a wonderful, Old World European feel and really transports you to another place. It's the perfect location for a magical, romantic wedding event.

Elaina prepared for the day in the Bridal Salon onsite. The satiny gown she chose had an amazing plunging v-neckline and a gorgeous, sparkling belt. Delicate buttons ran down the back and the skirt featured a subtle ball gown silhouette. She wore a long veil for most of her day and carried a lovely cascading white orchid bridal bouquet from Debbie's Designs. She certainly was a breathtaking bride!

The bridal party dressed into their matching metallic sage green colored dresses and all looked so beautiful together. Meanwhile, Scott and his groomsmen got ready in the Groom's Dressing Room. They put on their sharp, black tuxedos with Scott in a standout white bow tie. So very stylish!
Then, the couple had an exciting first look inside their venue! Elaina descended the grand, curved staircase to meet Scott, who was truly overwhelmed at the sight of his beautiful bride in her gown. You could see how happy both were that this wonderful day was finally here.

During this sweet moment, and all throughout the event, incredible photos were taken indoors and outside on the grounds by Jeff Tisman and his team. Every time we see his photos, we're more impressed than we were by the images from the wedding before! Check out his instagram to see just a few of the amazing images from this day.

In the rustic Arboretum Conservatory, the velvety sound of violins played as Elaina walked down the aisle on the arms of her parents. The couple stood in front of a breathtaking floral arch filled with massive white blooms as they recited their vows and exchanged rings, their ceremony containing traditional Catholic elements and a beautiful, personal homily. After they were pronounced as "absolutely joined", the couple celebrated with a kiss and practically danced back up the aisle together!

The elegant Ballroom reception space in Pleasantdale Chateau was overflowing with tall, white floral centerpieces and cozy flickering candlelight. Following the announcements, Elaina and Scott entered and danced their first dance 'on a cloud' as fog enveloped them on the dance floor and an exciting sparkler salute was given by the venue. It couldn't have been more romantic!

During the evening, guests were treated to wonderful toasts from Elaina's lifelong friend and maid of honor and from two of Scott's best men, his good friend and his nephew. Then it was time to party! Don't Stop the Music! had everyone out on the dance floor all evening long. Elaina and Scott definitely had a very fun, very energetic crowd!

Congratulations to Elaina and Scott! May they continue to share a joyous life together, one filled with nothing but love, success and happiness.
