By Your Side // Kristin + Ryan

We were so excited for this wedding day to arrive!  Not only were we going to finally see the lovely wedding venue, Renault Winery, after its recent impressive remodel, but we were excited to be working with and filming such a wonderful couple on their wedding day.

Kristin and Ryan have known each other for a long time… they actually met in kindergarten!  Their paths crossed again once they reached high school, but following graduation, Kristin and Ryan went in different directions for college.  Later at a friend’s wedding, Kristin saw and spoke with Ryan’s cousin who suggested that the two should reconnect.  And Ryan called her the next day to see if she wanted to take their dogs together to the lake.  We love how Kristin described her reaction!  As a fellow dog lover, she said, “he had me at ‘the dogs'”!

Kristin prepared for the big day at her home, while Ryan got ready at his parents house.  The two were sure to have their sweet furbabies, Wesley and Jack, included in this special day (along with Kristin’s parents’ little pup), and they happily shared in their morning preparations as well! Ryan even had some time that morning to play a relaxing game of fetch with their dogs, and read his sweet card from Kristin, before he and his groomsmen dressed into their stylish light gray suits.

Kristin’s bridal party wore long, sea glass blue-green gowns in keeping with the wedding theme colors of that gorgeous sea glass, blush and white.  And it was such a beautiful, quiet moment when Kristin took time away from the hustle and bustle to read her love note from Ryan, as Ryan wrote that he couldn’t imagine life without her by his side.

Then, with help from her mother, the beautiful bride dressed into her amazing gown from Martina Liana.  It featured delicate spaghetti straps, dazzling beading and lace embroidery in an alluring fit and flare silhouette… and it looked simply perfect.  Kristin looked absolutely stunning, sentiments her father would also echo when he received his first look at his daughter descending the staircase and again at the reception.  It was now time to head to the church to make it official!

The couple saw each other for the first time that day at St. Isidore the Farmer Church in Vineland, New Jersey, as Kristin walked down the aisle on the arm of her father.  Kristin’s parents were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and it was so wonderful to see their special acknowledgement and blessing during Kristin and Ryan’s ceremony.  Their traditional ceremony concluded with the joyous pronouncement of the newest married couple and the exciting first kiss!

Following their ceremony, the formal and candid photo shoot took place outdoors at their reception venue and it was such a pleasure to film alongside Carlyvous Photography as their team took photographs.  It was a little breezy but truly, a wonderful day for a stroll in such an idyllic setting on the grounds of Renault Winery in Egg Harbor City.  And you could see how much Kristin and Ryan enjoyed this time together before the reception.

Renault Winery went through an enormous transformation last year and was such a marvelous choice for Kristin and Ryan’s wedding.  The new Vineyard Ballroom, with its modern-rustic wood ceiling and distinctive circular chandeliers, was decorated beautifully by Anton’s Florist with white and red rose floral arrangements and tons of greenery and delicate baby’s breath.  Kristin and Ryan entered the room to cheers and danced a touching dance together, their first dance as ‘husband and wife’.  And Kristin would get the opportunity later to dance a sweet dance with her father and Ryan with his mother too.  But first was dinner and toasts to the happy couple!

The sweethearts sat at their sweetheart table and listened to all the wonderful speeches and blessings from Kristin’s father, Ryan’s mother, his two best men and brothers and from Kristin’s matron of honor, her cousin, Melissa.  We especially loved Kristin’s father’s advice to the newlyweds, “with the strength of love, mutual respect and understanding, you can be the perfect match for each other.”  DJ Seth Velez, of SCE Event Group, kept the music playing for the celebration, then for dessert and the icing on the cupcake, The Bake Works made a delectable cupcake tower their the couple and their guests!

This was such a beautiful day and a wonderful celebration of love.  We congratulate Kristin and Ryan and wish them all the best in this new chapter in their life together.
