I Got You // Beth + Max

Beth and Max have been together since the summer after their freshman year at Princeton. The two met in Spain on a university travel abroad program, then once back on campus, Beth asked Max to be her date to a sorority formal event. After a breakfast date, the two started dating officially and the rest, as they say, is history!

Max's marriage proposal to Beth was so creative and fun! He had put together a scavenger hunt for her in their then hometown of Columbus, Ohio, choosing some of their most favorite places in the city. Along the way, she collected bouquets of flowers and clues to the next location. The last stop was the Columbus Zoo, where Max was waiting by the tigers (a nod to their beloved alma mater, Princeton!). When she found him, he got down on one knee with his handmade ring box in hand, and Beth's grandmother's engagement ring, and asked her to be his forever. Beth, of course, said 'Yes!"

We were so excited for this wedding day to arrive! We had filmed the wedding of Beth's twin sister almost two years earlier, and were thrilled that Beth asked us to celebrate with her family again, this time for her own wonderful wedding day!

We arrived at their chosen venue, Ryland Inn in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, in time to film Beth and Max as they got ready for their event with their party. Beth had her grandmother's engagement ring as those final touches of hair and makeup were done in the bridal suite.

Max held his father's ring close on this special day as he dressed into his dark suit and sage green bow tie. With his peach floral boutonniere, his accessories were a perfect match to Beth's bridal party's long gowns and bouquets.

Beth and Max both wrote love notes for each other to read on their wedding day, and to then treasure for their lifetime. And we loved how Max shared this moment with their beloved pup as he read his note. It was so awesome that their fur baby, Jasper, was involved so much in their day, from his own walk down the aisle to his likeness on their fantastic wedding cake from Palermo's Bakery!

Beth then put on her beautiful Maison Signore wedding gown from Kleinfeld Bridal. Her dress had little gorgeous 3D flowers embroidered throughout the bodice, which then trickled down onto her skirt, a deep-V neckline and lovely open back design. She looked absolutely amazing!

Beth and Max shared a first look outside at Ryland Inn after they were all dressed and ready for their day. They kissed in between sweet compliments and you could just feel the excitement in the air!

We always have a blast filming while wedding photos are taken by our friend, Paul, and the team at Paul Francis Photography. The idyllic grounds of Ryland Inn never fail to provide a beautiful backdrop for formal and candid photos of the bride and groom and their wedding party. And you could see how much Beth, Max and their party were enjoying it, too!

Now it was time for Beth and Max to make it official! The two had a beautiful, very personalized ceremony outdoors at Ryland Inn, with Beth's brother officiating their ceremony, just as he did for their sister in 2021. Their floral arch was overflowing with blooms in the same pinks, corals and peaches found in Beth and her bridal party's fabulous bouquets from Jardiniere Fine Flowers. The couple recited their personal vows, exchanged rings and said "I do" before their friends and family.

It was then time to celebrate! The introductions of the wedding party kicked off the reception, followed by Beth and Max's touching first dance. In the middle of their dance, everyone was invited out to join in and help warm up the floor for the evening.

Beth's aunt gave a blessing of love, then her father, with Beth's mother by his side, gave a beautiful welcome speech, thanking the guests for being there on this special day. Of course, his speech would also include words of love and admiration for his daughter and for Max. After another short dance set and dinner, wonderful toasts were given by Beth's sister and matron of honor and by Max's two groomswomen, his sisters as well.

Beth danced with her father and Max with his mother after those beautiful toasts. Then dancing resumed and continued all night, as Generation Events kept the hits playing and the dance floor packed! And as the evening's events concluded, Beth and Max were given a sparkler salute by their loved ones. A perfect ending to a perfect day.

We absolutely loved Beth and Max's wedding event, and were so thrilled to be asked back to film and to celebrate a second wedding with this super sweet family. We wish all the love and happiness in the world to Beth and Max!
