Simply The Best // Allie + Ben

We were so happy to be able to tell Kathleen, of Kathleen Deo Weddings, that we were available to film the wedding of her lovely clients, Allie and Ben, when she reached out to inquire. And the venue for this event was such an amazing choice for a wedding, too. We were so excited for this spring wedding day to finally arrive!

Allie and Ben's fantastic wedding event took place at Hamilton Farm Golf Club, and we loved filming their whole day, from Allie's preparations in the grand suite to the couple's fabulous tented reception behind the mansion. They had absolutely perfect weather for their wedding day, which was wonderful with so much taking place outside in the venue's exceptional outdoor spaces.

But inside the beautiful venue, the day began with Allie's hair and makeup perfected by JC Hair Design and Beauty on Location. She then dressed into her gorgeous, strapless fit and flare gown with an amazing lace overlay and a subtle corset bodice. In her hair, she wore a long veil for the first half of her day. Allie was an absolutely stunning bride to be sure!

Ben and his groomsmen all wore very formal, classic black tuxedos for this special day. They all looked so very handsome, and right on trend as well... we loved Ben's ankle-showing loafers!

All dressed and looking spectacular, Allie and Ben met outside on the stone terrace for their official first look on their wedding day. They were both completely overwhelmed at the sight of each other! It was such a sweet moment. Following their first look was a fun photo shoot, during which their their super cute, extra-tiny pup even got in on the action!

After photos were taken of the couple, wedding party and family, the Ketubah was signed in the drawing room. Then, Allie and Ben's ceremony was held outside the club under a wood-framed chuppah, decorated beautifully with a gauzy white canopy and flanked by large, lush white and pink blooms. Allie walked down the aisle with her parents to meet Ben waiting for her. The seven blessings were bestowed by friends and family and Allie and Ben read the most beautiful, touching vows to each other. And at the conclusion of the traditional ceremony, Ben broke the glass to shouts of 'Mazel Tov' from their loved ones!

Allie and Ben's reception was held inside a massive, white Sperry tent, with the club's classical water fountain right in the center. The couple was introduced as 'Mr. and Mrs.', and all eyes were on them as they danced their sensational first dance, with a perfect dip at the end. Then, of course it was time to dance the Hora!

The Hamotzi blessing was given, then as the first course was served, Allie danced with her father, then Ben with his mother. We love capturing the sentimental moment when the couple's parents or special loved ones join them for that important dance, that sweet goodbye to a chapter and celebration of a new one in their lives.

Guests adored the thoughtful toasts given that evening by Allie's father, from her sister and maid of honor and from Ben's best man. They were all so heartfelt and contained both sweet and funny stories from their lives together. And we could tell that everyone knew they all so eloquently described Allie and Ben to a tee!

Then, Love Supreme from Element Music opened the dance floor for guests to dance the night away! Allie and Ben stepped away for just a moment to cut their fabulous cake with its beautiful vintage piping in private, then joined the party again. And everyone had such a ball the rest of the evening!
