A Rainbow Connection // Kristen + Tucker

We were so honored to be able to film another fabulous wedding for a super sweet couple in the beginning of June!  Kristen and Tucker are such a kindhearted, down to earth couple and their wedding day reflected their genuineness, their love for their family and friends and their deep love for each other.

Kristen and Tucker’s love story started several years ago at a work conference.  Kristen saw him at a dinner party and mentioned her interest in him to a friend.  When he went to the bar, her friend texted her to tell her to “get to the bar, your future husband is here!”.  Little did she know how true her words would be!  Kristen went over, introduced herself and the rest is history as they say!

Tucker’s marriage proposal was so cute!  The couple had recently found out they were expecting their first baby!  Tucker already had the ring in hand and now it was just a matter of finding the perfect way to propose.  He decided to fasten the ring to a necklace on their cat with a note that read, ‘Will you marry me?’.  What a precious way to pop the question!

Fast forward to their fabulous wedding day… Kristen and Tucker had an “all-in-one” wedding at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ.  They each spent the late morning and early afternoon getting ready at separate suites at the club.  The two chose to have a small bridal party made up of just two on each side.  Kristen’s maid of honor and bridesmaid wore long, matching gowns, while Tucker and his groomsmen wore standout blue tuxedos.  During their preparations, they took time out to read such lovely notes each had penned for the other.

Kristen wore a gorgeous strapless gown with an intricately beaded bodice.  Her full skirt was overflowing with light layers that ended in a mid-length train.  She wore her hair up, beautifully braided in the back with light wisps of hair framing her face and a long veil edged in coordinating beading.  Tucker said it best, “Beautiful!” as he saw her for the first time that day at their ‘first look’ on the grand staircase at Trump National Golf Club.

Afterwards, photos were taken at several locations on the grounds of their venue by one of our favorite photographers, Drew Noel.  As always, the bridal party had a fantastic time during their photo sessions with Drew and his assistant, as did we!  It rained a little but the bride and groom weren’t afraid to run out and take photos in it! Then, their lovely outdoor ceremony began at the golf course.  White flower petals lined the sides of the lush, green grass aisle and Jardiniere Fine Flowers adorned the ceremony with beautiful, soaring floral arrangements at the end of the aisle and cascading white flowers and garlands on the arched arbor.  Their precious daughter, Ava, played a part, making her entrance down the aisle to the ‘Aww’s’ of all the guests!  Kristen and Tucker had a wonderful unity tree planting ceremony where Kristen and Tucker added soil and water to the little potted tree together.  The tree symbolizes their union and the growth of their love and when later planted, will illustrate the planting of roots and longevity in their marriage.  After reciting such amazing, wonderfully written personal vows and exchanging rings, the two were declared the new ‘Mr. & Mrs.’!

Their reception kicked off with introductions of the bridal party and the newlyweds in the club’s grand ballroom!  Kristen and Tucker arrived with their beautiful baby in their arms and were sure to have their first dance include their adorable daughter, clapping away with joy!   During the reception, they had a special guest make an appearance…. the President was at his resort that weekend and made sure to say hello to the couple and guests.

The couple took great care to personalize their wedding day, adding to their reception a cigar roller with personalized matches and organic, local honey and Arbonne lip balm for guest favors (Kristen is an avid supporter of clean, healthy and organic living!).  And Jardiniere Fine Flowers once again decorated the ballroom beautifully with luscious white floral arrangements in various heights to add drama and enchantment.

Dancing continued well into the evening as Craig Scott Entertainment’s Harry Stuart Band did what they always do, kept everyone on their feet! Everyone had such a blast celebrating the love of two very special people.  Congratulations and best wishes to the newlyweds, Kristen and Tucker!
