Happy 1st Anniversary! // Katie + John

   

Happy Anniversary, Katie + John!  The two were wed a year ago today, and celebrated with a beautiful reception at Pen Ryn Mansion in Bensalem, PA.  It was so sweet that Katie and John couldn’t wait until the end of the wedding ceremony to kiss!  Everyone got such a kick out of their excitement!  They’re such a sweet couple and it was such a joy to film their elegant wedding event… Happy 1st Anniversary!

2013 Summer Wedding Trends // Wedding Cakes

Wedding cakes are tall, modern and slender this summer.  Many couples are ordering them in the traditional white, just like Katie and John did for their classic wedding at the Pen Ryn Mansion, but others are accentuating them with a touch of bright color such as on a bow or ribbon.

Take a look at Adrianne and Joel’s classic wedding cake with a red ribbon detailing each tier.  We were so honored to film their classic wedding at The Merion in Cinnaminson.  (On a side note, Adrianne’s stylish headpiece also radiated that 2013 Summer wedding trend, the 20’s glamorous vibe!)

Still other couples are choosing to go with bright colors over the entire cake, with a bold patterns or appliqués in hot colors.  And many couples are going with apropos seasonal fillings, such as strawberry or mango.  Scrumptious!

Stolen Kiss // Katie + John

The bride was radiant in diamonds and lace…  Katie and John celebrated their undying love for each other in an elegant affair.  They couldn’t even wait for the official go ahead to kiss during the ceremony!  It was so cute!

Deep purple was the theme of this classic wedding, with their vows exchanged at Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. Lovely bouquets were arranged for the happy couple by Precious Petals.

The guests later arrived at Pen Ryn Mansion to celebrate the union and dance the night away with the help of Synergetic Sounds.  The wedding was photographed by George Street Photography.  What a wonderful event!  We wish a world of happiness to Katie and John!
