Stephanie and Giuseppe met in Atlantic City while Stephanie was out celebrating her birthday with friends. The two started talking and just clicked instantly. Their love grew over the years as they shared the same values, family traditions, the same loves and same interests. Stephanie and Giuseppe both love great food, wine and gelato and share a strong bond with family.
Giuseppe planned his proposal for a night when it would just be the two of them, since this is how Stephanie always wanted her wedding proposal to be. One evening while they were relaxing after work, he asked Stephanie if she wanted ice cream, but she said no. He had tried other ways to get her to leave the room for the surprise, but they didn’t work! Finally by chance, her wine glass spilled and when she came back with towels to clean it up, Giuseppe came towards her and got down on one knee. Stephanie was so surprised and excited! The next day they celebrated with family and soon, began making plans for the big day!
Stephanie and Giuseppe’s wedding was a fabulous big affair! The two got ready at separate houses that morning. At her mother’s house, Stephanie prepared for the day with her lovely bridesmaids who had a fun photo session while in their matching pink robes (Stephanie in her white robe) with the terrific team at Capone Photography. Stephanie’s bridesmaids dressed into beautiful matching pastel pink gowns and carried perfect coordinating blush pink bouquets from Jamie Rothstein Floral & Event Design. Stephanie’s lush white bouquet had photos of beloved family members attached.
Stephanie and Giuseppe exchanged cards and gifts during their morning preparations: a dazzling ring for Stephanie and a handsome watch for Giuseppe. While Giuseppe and his groomsmen got dressed into their matching classic tuxedos, Stephanie was helped into her gown by her mother and maid of honor.
Stephanie looked absolutely amazing in her gorgeous wedding dress! It was a beautiful strapless gown with a fit and flare silhouette and a lovely floral lace overlay. She wore her hair down in delightful waves and accented with a sparkling hair clip. Her beautiful dress also had Giuseppe and her name and their wedding date embroidered (something blue!) in the lining. It was now time to head to the church! There, Stephanie had a first look moment with her father as he shared some words of wisdom with her.
Their traditional catholic ceremony took place at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Merchantville. We loved seeing Giuseppe’s face as he saw Stephanie enter at the back of the church and the ‘Wow!’ he said when he saw his beautiful bride. The two skipped a first look so this was their first sight of each other on this special day… and Giuseppe was beaming! Stephanie was escorted up the aisle, which was adorned with white, gauzy fabric and yellow spring flowers, by her loving mother and took her place at the altar beside Giuseppe. Father Timothy Byerley gave a beautiful message as he described newlyweds as two rough blocks of wood, rubbed together creating friction but over time, becoming smooth and a perfect fit. What a wonderful metaphor for how love grows. The two recited their vows and became husband and wife.
After filming while additional photos were taken by Capone Photography, we traveled to The Merion for the grand wedding reception. Jamie Rothstein Floral & Event Design did a superb job with the beautiful, tall white and pink floral centerpieces and ballroom decor. And we can’t praise enough the amazing food that was served all evening, from the hors d’oeuvres to the desserts. It looked fantastic and was simply scrumptious! And as always, Sweet T’s Bakeshop created a masterpiece with the white wedding cake. Later, check out the perfect groom’s cake made up of Giuseppe’s favorites!
Stephanie and Giuseppe entered the ballroom to the cheers of their friends and family and danced a special first dance together. Touching parent dances followed, as well as engaging, beautifully written toasts. We loved all of them, including Stephanie’s sister’s sweet toast which featured a poem about Stephanie and Giuseppe and about the love of sisters. Later, the dance floor opened and remained packed, thanks to the hip band Masquerade and the expert DJ services of DiNardo Brothers.
To quote the conclusion of one of Stephanie and Giuseppe’s toasts, which was of course quoting Ol’ Blue Eyes, ‘The best is yet to come’. We wish Stephanie and Giuseppe a lifetime of love, success and happiness! Salute!
